Cortado for Claude

Ask Claude about your leads, contacts, notes, tasks, and quotes. The Cortado connector gives Claude read-only access to your organization's data, scoped to your own permissions.

Read-only by design

Every tool the connector exposes only reads. Claude cannot create, edit, delete, or send anything in Cortado.

OAuth sign-in and approval

You sign in to Cortado in your browser and approve the connection. No API keys to copy, and you can revoke access at any time.

Your existing permissions apply

The connector resolves the same role and permissions you have in the Cortado app. It never widens what you are allowed to see.

How to connect

  1. 1

In Cortado, open Settings → Integrations and find the "AI assistants (MCP)" card.

  2. 2

Copy the server URL shown there. It ends in your organization ID, so it is specific to your organization.

  3. 3

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, choose to add a custom connector, and paste the URL.

  4. 4

Claude opens a Cortado sign-in and approval page in your browser. Sign in and approve the connection.

  5. 5

Claude returns to your conversation with the connector enabled. Ask it about your leads, quotes, or upcoming events.

The server URL follows the format https://api.cortado.pro/api/v1/mcp/<organization-id>. Always copy the exact URL from your Cortado settings rather than typing it by hand.

What Claude can read

The connector exposes seven tools. All of them are read-only, and none of them can change data in Cortado.

  • get_leads

Lists the leads in your organization, filtered by stage, event type, received date, event date, source, search text, and archive state.

  • get_lead

Gets one lead, including its contact summary and every inquiry event attached to that lead.

  • get_contact

Gets one contact, including name, email, phone, and custom fields.

  • get_notes

Gets the notes attached to a record, including the note text, who wrote it, and when.

  • get_tasks

Gets the tasks attached to a record, including title, status, due date, and assignee.

  • get_lead_quotes

Gets the quote summaries attached to one lead, including status, total, validity, and event dates.

  • get_quote

Gets one quote in full, including line items, payment schedules, discounts, tips, and payment methods.

Things to ask

  • Which leads came in this month that we have not sent a quote to yet?
  • Summarize the notes and open tasks on the Harper wedding inquiry.
  • What is the total value of the quotes we sent last week, and which are still unaccepted?

Access, security, and your data

Each connector URL is bound to a single Cortado organization. Authorization is pinned to that organization, so a connection approved for one organization cannot be replayed against another. To connect a second organization, you add its URL separately and approve it separately.

Signing in does not grant blanket access. Every request resolves your Cortado actor and checks the same permissions the app enforces — lead reads require lead permissions, quote reads require quote permissions, and notes and tasks inherit the permission of the record they hang off. Records belonging to another organization are reported as not found.

An active Cortado subscription is required, matching the rest of the Cortado API. When Claude calls a tool, the data it reads is sent to Anthropic to answer your question. Anthropic's handling of that data is governed by your agreement with Anthropic. Cortado's own handling is described in our privacy policy.

You can disconnect the connector from Claude at any time. Removing it revokes the connection and stops all further access.
